Balance Mental Health & Wellness is looking for motivated mental health therapists to join our team. Are you looking for a work/life balance? Flexibility? Balance is for you.

Responsibilities-

-Perform initial evaluations of client needs and develop customized treatment plans.

-Conduct individual, family, children, or group therapy using therapeutic interventions appropriate to levels of functioning, diagnosis, treatment plan, and motivation.

- Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.

-Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.

-Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services.

- Refer the client to appropriate hospital or community resources as necessary.

-Maintain records as required.

-Client appointment scheduling.

-Provide weekly updates to staff.

-Priority is given to candidates who work with children and families.

Qualifications-

  • LMSW, or LPC licensure by the State of Michigan.

  • Related work experience which may include internship and/or practicum.

  • Knowledge of Michigan's Mental Health Code.

  • Minimum Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.

  • Demonstrated skill in diagnosing psychopathology.

  • Demonstrated skill in providing individual, group, child, and family therapy.

Pay: $36.00 - $47.00 per hour
